What you and most liberals fail to understand is that President Trump is a businessman at heart and he resolves diplomatic issues by targeting a nation's wallet. President Trump got Xi to agree to stop buying oil from Iran in exchange for very favorable terms on oil produced by the US. Elon's Tesla plant in China is the first American company in china to be 100% owned and operated by an American corporation. President Trump is going to push for that model to become the standard for future investments in China going forward and in exchange China will see a massive influx of investment capital at a time when they need it the most. Right now China's economy is edging closer and closer to a major collapse and what President Trump is doing will greatly slow that process or maybe even reverse it.
