I had the honor of attending the formal inauguration of the leadership of Kano Central Executive members for the APC Ex Councillors Forum (Masalaha), a gathering that brought together committed stakeholders united by a shared vision of progress and unity. As the Grand Patron of the organization, it was a privilege to witness the formal unveiling of the leadership team that would undertake the responsibility of strengthening grassroots engagement, promoting dialogue, and fostering collective development across Kano Central. The event, held on the 3rd of May 2026, was marked by thoughtful deliberations, renewed commitments, and a sense of purpose among the members. It is encouraging to see such dedication towards building a platform that prioritizes inclusiveness, cooperation, and sustainable growth. I commend the leadership of the Forum, for their efforts in making the inauguration a success. The Coalition of Grassroots Youth Supporters of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in the North-West has called on Nigerians from different political parties to defect to the APM.

The group praised the National Chairman of the APM, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, describing him as a visionary leader committed to unity, fairness, and progress.

The Coalition of Grassroots Youth Supporters of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in the North-West has called on Nigerians from different political parties to defect to the APM.

The coalition encouraged Nigerian youths to actively participate in politics through the APM and contest for elective positions at all levels.

The group urged members of the APC, PDP, ADC, and other parties who feel marginalized or unfairly treated to join the APM. They said the APM provides equal opportunities for members and is committed to transforming Nigeria’s political future.

They cited the recent defection of Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed from the Peoples Democratic Party as evidence of the APM’s growing popularity. According to the coalition, the governor’s move shows increasing trust in the leadership and vision of the APM.

The group stated that the APM is becoming a preferred choice for Nigerians seeking genuine democratic representation. The coalition consists of youth supporters from Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara States.

The coalition said Nigeria needs a political platform that promotes fairness, inclusion, justice, and national development.
