@Mephistofleas i completely understand if you wouldn’t wish to talk about your symptoms but i experienced something similar and it turned out to be such severe inflammation from an autoimmune disease that my body was basically attacking every single cell of itself. ( 1/2 )

i feel like this community really despises artists despite artists making this community go round. g-d forbid someone buys multiple suits and supports artistic endeavors financially

I think after like 5-10 suits you need to explain yourself to the public or be treated like a card scalper because there’s no way you’re using all of those. Imagine finding your dream suit on auction and you get outbid by some rich child who’s gonna wear it twice at most.

@FlickerToons if artists get paid, then i personally don’t gaf. i can’t wear my suits often, im disabled too. but they’re adored and very well cared for.

@FlickerToons i know someone that had a good amount of suits that they wore ALL THE TIME — but became severely disabled suddenly. They still get people attacking them for ‘suit hoarding’ bragging about money is tacky yes, but shouldn’t be this big of a deal.

@hounds_teeth i was selling two fursuits last year due to health issues and this individual kept leading me on for two months. it seems like this person has a serious propensity towards ghosting or flaking at the last second. i’m so sorry.

still can’t believe i got scammed by a once popular furry artist — was told that the adopt would be given several full scene pieces + have an interactive community. they dropped off the face of the planet, and several commissioners were left with nothing. not even a sketch.

@XivTroy i personally had a very standoffish cat become very affectionate in his last week. It seemed like a switch had been flipped, and he wanted to spend every second with us. This is purely anecdotal, but it showed me that animals may feel regret, or at least wish to go on a good note

@XivTroy Domestic cats are well known for hiding somewhere in the house when they pass naturally, usually in a dark, comforting space. So in some way, I do believe animals know when they’re going to pass.

This is one of life's greatest mysteries: are wild animals conscious? Does he know he's dying? Is he scared? Afraid? Did he even know he was alive in the 1st place? Does he have regrets? Or was it all just instinct from the sunrise to his sunset? Hunt, eat, rest... rinse, repeat.
