✉️Thank you for the invite! ✏️After receiving a bundle of letters from Fane Street Primary pupils last year, The Queen popped into the school to meet staff, students, and join their assembly. 🌍The school is a vibrant and welcoming community, with 285 pupils representing 45 countries and speaking an impressive 47 different languages.

The Vice Lord Lieutenant Dr Alan Logan DL has received HM The Queen at Fane Street Primary School. The children first met HM Queen on her solo visit in 2024 and invited her to this very special school.

A brains top priority is safety. So,it is biologically impossible for a pupil to process or absorb information if they are overwhelmed or in a state of stress,worry, or anxiety.Without safe,predictable,attuned,emotionally available adults, development & attainment will suffer🧠🌱

My morning started with a visit to Fane Street Primary to speak w/ pupils about the benefits of outside learning. Fane Street are making outside learning a priority, linking in w/ @NIForestSchool This school has a great reputation right across Belfast and do so much great work.

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) poverty neglect,physical/emotional abuse,exposure to violence, etc. impact young people's brains. Q. How many within education are regularly trained in trauma informed responsive approaches, including the biological underpinnings?🧠🌱
