Oh yeah. Altman's #PretaPorter is a genuine satire with both affection and sharp teeth. The Kim Basinger character alone (as well as Stephen Rea's) outwit and outclass those #TDWP clowns. @princeoftyre

@3xchair In reading this review, it seems the filmmakers should have reviewed Altman's Pret-a-Porter. As always, Altman not only outclasses modern filmmakers but was ahead of them. Altman says more about fashion and journalism than any film I've seen since!

Dud of the Week: "The Devil Wears Prada 2" brings back a comedy nobody wanted except the media class desperate to combat the public's distrust. It's garbage. #TheDevilwearsprada2 nationalreview.com/2026/05/the-ru…

@JoshPhillipsPhD I have a small group of homeschool kids I meet with twice a month for a Shakespeare class. We just finished discussing Hamlet yesterday. We've had a great time reading, watching, and discussing Shakespeare this year!

Not teaching Shakespeare deprives your students of their rightful inheritance. It’s good for them to read. Replacing Shakespeare w substandard material is reprehensible.

@GRCinemaTicket 2.5/5 -- re-watched it recently and it's better than I remembered it being, but still not great
