Thank you for this. Every town I visit often, I have a membership card. Children need the library. Especially those who come from disadvantaged backgrounds who don’t have access to the internet at home and can’t afford to go to the internet cafe every time they have a school project. I was once that kid. 🫶🏿

I have 3, all in different towns. I don’t use them but there are kids who need the library and if they don’t have enough patrons with membership cards, the libraries are at a risk of being permanently closed.
