@matoxley Any time the result is decided in a closed room, about technicalities, its really bad for the sport. You only have to look whats happening to football with VAR. Penalties in the race applied during the race are ok.

IMO #MotoGP should get rid of tyre-pressure penalties for restarts. Teams run within fractions of a Bar using the data they have, but the restart doesn’t start in exactly the same conditions. This is why there were so many penalties today and this is why they should get rid of them for restarts

@denkmit This sport will never be a "safe" sport. I`ve never raced, but I suspect every single person who has accepts the dangers inherent in it. The conditions were fine for racing.

Absolutely FUCK THIS. Just fucking call it. Let's go home. Fuck 'the show,' fuck the TV broadcast, fuck whoever thinks that riders are just disposable things to use up. Which actual race fan wants to see this AGAIN?

@MrRyanLeister I remember when he was in a battle with Dominic Iorfa for the right back spot. Doc has been brilliant for us.

#wwfc | Matt Doherty We don’t know what the future looks like for Matt, but it’s a possibility that Sunday could be his last game at Molineux. He’s seen it all at here, league one to Europe, highs and lows & peak Doc under Nuno was something else. He deserves some love & respect tomorrow.

Things already seem to be running out of steam in the get rid of Starmer race. I really hope he comes out of this stronger. Far from perfect but definitely the best for what is needed currently imo.

@wendlingere49 I suspect thats mainly due to the fact all the replacements up for it are utterly dreadful.

The silent Majority, those who don't use social media, or ring up radio hosts are coming out and making their feelings clear. They want Keir Starmer to carry on.

@chris_sutton73 You sure you`re an ex pro ? Ive never seen a ball hit a hand and take the trajectory that ball did. That was a header.

Now the dust has settled.. The reaction from many high profile people is way over the top. John Beaton was advised to go to the monitor and saw that the ball hit the arm in an unnatural position Bottom line is people would hate to see Celtic win the title again and that is all.

Angela Rayner has told ITV News she has been cleared of any wrongdoing concerning her tax affairs. The former Deputy Prime Minister says she “never wanted to avoid paying tax” and she had been “hurt” by the controversy, adding: “It hurt me because I had to then talk about my son and his personal circumstances...It's not fair on him.”

EXCL: Angela Rayner has been cleared by HMRC of deliberate wrongdoing or carelessness over her tax affairs, paving the way for a potential leadership bid if Keir Starmer’s grip on power unravels. The former DPM has settled £40,000 in unpaid stamp duty, but has not paid any penalty as a result of the investigation. HMRC was also satisfied there was no tax avoidance. Rayner tells me she was “bruised” by whole experience because of intrusion into her disabled son’s personal life, but also because it had appeared as though she was “in it for myself” rather than on the side of ordinary people. Rayner indicated she may run in event of a contest as she would “play my part” and that she understood why Labour MPs were so upset following last week’s election crushing. She said Starmer should “reflect on” stepping aside.

A difficult evening for Nathan, Matt and Rob tonight and fair play to them fronting up and for hanging around at the end. I think we need to give them a chance and see what the Summer brings and hope lessons have been learnt.

@AyWeWolves83 Unless somebody can come up with a replacement for Edwards that is a nailed on success, I say give him a close season, some decent players not the dross we imported last season, and give him till Christmas. Lets be fair the squad he got was only good enough for 20th

Nathan Shi - likeable & has some personality, see if he delivers his words. Edwards - got hammered & someone said he needs to be sacked. Thought he was going to cry, felt like he knows he is done & very unlikely to get fans back on side.

Will Europe risk a policy mistake? Energy prices are lifting inflation and weighing on growth. We expect the ECB to hike twice this year, but with limited domestic pressures, tightening could deepen the slowdown and be reversed by 2027. Neutral equities; prefer Japan over Europe.

Was making good progress on the road from Barcelona to Andorra last night when a car caught and passed me in a quite spirited manner. Didn’t see the driver, but the personalised number plate did by coincidence include the number and initials of a Grand Prix racer 😂😂😂
