@RobTheHockeyGuy Especially is they REACH for Malhotra, he is NOT a top 3 talent. Neither is Lawrence. Bjorck has top 3 potential, but Verhoeff is the pick at 3.

The most Canucks result possible is this:
-Canucks drop from 1st to 3rd in the lottery
-McKenna and Stenberg drafted 1st and 2nd, become stars
-Canucks reach for a centre instead of taking Verhoeff with 3rd pick
-Centre has an ok career as a 3C. Verhoeff becomes a Hall of Famer for someone else.
