🚨 Developing story | Central Coast Mariners Academy 🚨 Reports emerging that the Central Coast Mariners Academy entity has been placed into liquidation, with a notice showing Central Coast Mariners Foundation Limited (trading as Central Coast Mariners Academy) now listed “In Liquidation” as of 13 January 2026. Major questions now around youth pathways, player contracts, and what this means moving forward for one of Australia’s most productive academies. Awaiting official clarification from the club.

@adampeacock3 There’s a group of former administrators and passionate staff who were involved in previous academy success currently working behind the scenes to sort it out and get CCMA back to where it used to be. Fingers crossed.

@Joelb1anchfield Hearing it’s being revisited as an option, yeah. Vince posted an article earlier which seems to be pretty much on the money (as usual). Would expect APL will want as smooth and quick a transaction as possible.

@StefanMauk There was a supporters trust co-op formed a few years ago, with the intention of being a vehicle for community investment in the club. Had some decent momentum behind it. Sadly it fell by the wayside around the time Peil took control.

I’d love to see a fan owned club and I feel like CCM would be perfect for it. Even if it’s a few local businesses owner a bigger % and then fans have the option to buy shares…
