@defyneric Whats the point of this when @ereborbank exists? And there‘s no chance for anyone to compete against palmers influence

i had a call once with someone building a neobank for the aerospace / defense industry he told me each transaction in that industry can often times be in the $100M + range and waiting 3-5 days for wires to settle was a massive pain point so now he’s building a stablecoin powered fintech for defense companies my takeaway from that call was i’m not thinking big enough lol

Pearl has been live for three days, and it’s already been a humbling experience. @prlnet We’ve seen thousands of new nodes join the network, putting their GPUs to work and earning a share of what we believe is the next revolution in AI unit economics. Today, node operators can run Llama 8B/70B or Gemma 4 with Pearl’s 2-for-1 vLLM plugin. In the coming days, we’ll also launch our consumer app, giving people without access to GPUs a way to get exposure to Pearl. Subscribe on our website to stay updated. Getting Pearl to this point took a huge amount of work. Along the way, we had to solve a number of fascinating technical problems, and we’ll be sharing more about them over the next few weeks. There’s still a long road ahead, both technically and commercially. On the technical side, we’re expanding support for additional models, workflows, and data types. On the market side, we’re working with companies interested in integrating Pearl into their AI pipelines. If you want to contribute to the technology or explore integrating Pearl into your existing AI pipelines, DM us.

@FacetSir @hyperbolic_labs @lium_io @Yuchenj_UW Everyone can offer ridiculous stupid cheap prices because they receive retarded amounts of money through emissions, so they dont need to rely on max revenue. 1) not sustainable 2) no security guarantees for any corp to use this 3) most likely no licenses

@hyperbolic_labs Way cheaper on @lium_io 2.65/hr at Hyberbolic for H200 vs. 1.9/h on @lium_io Which is a single subnet on bittensor, the network you claims has no product. Seems a single subnet has more product value than your whole company. @Yuchenj_UW

@const_reborn Dtao is the single greatest invention in crypto since Bitcoin. It’s beyond the most fun I’ve had since arriving in this space. It’s chaotic, cruel, and somehow endearing simultaneously.

@AsmrRhapsody @buzzli8yr @const_reborn dtao is nothing but PnD (casino)…see coldkey swap pumps etc, purely speculation driven. Whoever thinks tao can compete against the openai‘s, the meta‘s, the thinky‘s…sorry i hate to tell you but you are retarded

@AldaMustafic @buzzli8yr @const_reborn This is no pumpfun, we are not playing casinos here, they are working the way they are intended. If you think a hundred corporate ML experts can compete against a system open to the world you are wrong! A subnet 'deepseek' moment inevitably will happen. Then you know what's next

The reason everyone else is on testnet is that they're scared Bittenosr will mine them -- but they should lean into that, you can mine Bittensor also, and this way we all win.

@AldaMustafic @const_reborn Dude! They’re literally crushing in compute, training, inference, storage, vision/3D, AI agents, data scraping, ZKML! You’re delusional and unaware of what’s being built. The equivalence is only Bitcoin which was first of its kind and transcended beyond all centralized networks!

@const_reborn Mining tao isn‘t to secure the network tho. What has been the point of running the network for 2y on cheap vps + shit hf models? You literally released the first app, chattensor, >2y past genesis. What has been done in the first 2y aside of farming? Thats why there‘s testnets…

Bittensor was small and unknown too, literally a small community of people who ran compute on rented Contabo VPNs, like my neighbor and some random people I met in underground hack spaces. Same thing in Bitcoin. People were hobbyists who made millions later. I say fuck yeah. Whats your point?

@FacetSir @const_reborn Zero. would be more concerning if it would sit at 3b mc with that kinda numbers. What i am actually wondering, how do you find the daily motivation to shill tao every day after making big banks with otc & buying his bag that early? Live your life bro, you‘re fine with your size

@const_reborn Hyperliquid? Helium? Hivemapper? Polymarket? PumpFun? Heaven? You expect people to use non financial products in financial markets? DeAI as a whole has been a huge waste of resources until now, none can compete

@const_reborn Who cares about YC? History also showed that the guy who tries to dance on all parties ends up dancing on none. Bittensor tries to do everything but does nothing good enough to be even considered in the same sentence as big labs.

Oh also, infrastructure wise. Bittensor is the same infra today as it was in 2021. Its called Yuma Consensus and its the mechanism on which every subnet is built today. Crushing compute, inference, training, etc. So, no, actually other way around, our infra is ahead of every testnet competitor until they reinvent YC.

@const_reborn Who cares about who was here first? Build products people use, nobody cares if vc backed or not, if they are „the first“ or not. Historically the first iteration of smthg never ended up being successful. Remember myspace?

It’s funny cause this is just proof that we were actually here first, and that everyday people, nerds stoked on the vision, got an opportunity to mine Bittensor just like it was for Bitcoin. And it took a couple years before people got very serious mining — now we have the best miners on earth probably. I’d rather give out that initial TAO to people that had the guts to mine something rather than VC insiders. That’s the whole difference.

@const_reborn Bitcoin gets secured through computational power. BTC before its 1st halving was small/unknown, desktops did their job back then to secure thbe network successfully. Bittensor gave 2y of emissions to farmers, worth hundreds of millions, without any work being done.

@AldaMustafic Yeah you could mine Bitcoin with a desktop too — we had the first incentive system around intelligence. Try mining with an HF model now.
