A man in Surat tried to withdraw 10,000 from an ATM in 2017.
The ATM didn’t give any cash.
But the money was deducted from his account.
He complained to Bank of Baroda many times.
Emails. Written complaints. Follow-ups.
Nothing happened.
The bank said the ATM belonged to SBI, so it wasn’t their responsibility.
But the customer didn’t give up.
He went to the consumer court.
Then came a long wait.
9 years later, the court gave its decision.
The forum said:
If money is deducted in a failed ATM transaction, the bank must reverse it within 5 days.
If they don’t, they must pay ₹100 per day as a penalty.
The bank failed to prove that the ATM actually dispensed the cash.
So the court ordered:
• ₹10,000 refund
• Interest
• ₹100 per day penalty for 3,288 days
Total compensation: ₹3.28 lakh
A ₹10,000 problem turned into 3,28,800 compensation.

@airtelindia So as per my experience with Airtel dth services since last so many days. Now finally i decided to file a complaint in consumer court against airtel company with all proofs i have for not providing me proper service even I'm facing too much mentally and financial lose as well.

@airtelindia Your guy came today after working time and than he refused to uninstall dth because he doesn't have tools to uninstall it. That's cheesy behaviour of one of service person who representing one of top cellular company !! Shame !!
