Today, we celebrate our 37th Birthday! We’ve accomplished a lot in 37 years! We were the 1st Racino, paving the way for others to use slot revenue to supplement purses. As the only non-profit Racino, we’re proud to have given back over $2 BILLION to our community to lessen the burden on government.

As a non-profit, Prairie Meadows is helping lessen the burden on government. $2.3 BILLION since 1995. Prairie Meadows and Polk County are proud to present a check for $7,432,087 to the City of Des Moines. Together, Prairie Meadows and Polk County have reinvested $135,522,386 into the City of Des Moines since 2004. The funds are made available from the Prairie Meadows and Polk County partnership.

Prairie Meadows and the Polk County Board of Supervisors are proud to partner to invest in the education of Polk County students. We had the honor to present a check for $113,262.87 on behalf of Prairie Meadows and the Polk County Board of Supervisors to the Johnston Community School District. This will provide unrestricted funds to advance education in their community.
