Last week, while I was in Delta, I went to a club with two of my friends since it had been a long time since we hung out. I posted a video from the club on my WhatsApp status, but I deleted it less than three hours later. The next morning, one of my cousins texted me, asking if I could help him with ₦50,000 because it was very urgent. I told him I didn't have the money, and honestly, I really didn't. He replied, "But you posted a video of yourself balling at the club yesterday." Omo, I was shocked... Me way den carry comot. The guy didn't believe me, and since then, he hasn't spoken to me again. He feels I had the money but simply refused to help him. Now I'm wondering... how did "I don't have it" suddenly turn into "you're pretending not to have it" just because I went to a club?
