This is the most annoying part of this entire conversation started by Kevin O’Leary. Nobody is paying $28 for lunch. The number he chose is at least 40% higher than the most expensive lunch. Hard to have a good faith conversation when you start with ridiculous claims

I work in NYC and can't think of a single fast casual lunch that is $28. Even double protein Chipotle is under $20. If you're making $70k a year and regularly spending $28 on lunch at work, you're financially irresponsible.

There are 3 big issues with the math here: 1) you used 365 days instead of 260 work days to annualize 2) almost nobody is spending $28 on lunch. The cost savings are more likely $12-16 a day ($3k - 4k per year) 3) 495 calories is an insufficient meal size for most 18 y/o

Let's test that. If an 18 year old saves $26 a day by eating the cheap sandwich instead of the $28 lunch mentioned, that's $9,490 a year. In five years, that's $47,450 if you save NOTHING else. That's a 20% down payment for a $230k home at 23. If you wait until 28, it's $94.9k.

The Patriots are a playoff team this year, so their 1st round pick is going to be the 19th pick at the absolute worst. Given that their roster has improved, it’s more likely there’s a floor of 25 on that pick. I promise you they’re not afraid to trade the 25th pick

The New England Patriots are scared to trade the Eagles a 2027 first round pick, because they know a regression could be coming in 2026, which would make the 2027 1st rounder a more valuable asset. Their 2026 schedule is a lot tougher than the cupcake slate from last year, they won some fluky games with that weak schedule, the Mike Vrabel - Dianna Russini situation is lingering and Drake Maye is coming off a playoff run, where he really struggled.

Derrick White was definitely the 3rd option in 2024. The difference is that the 4th through 6th options were only marginally worse than him and could step up if he had an off night
