I was young in the 80s/90s in the UK. I don’t remember my parents ever going out to eat, except when we were on holiday (in the UK). I don’t think they ever took me to a fast food restaurant, or ordered takeaway food. People today have no clue how working people lived. /1

Blue badges for ADHD…how can this be right? Like the benefits system - opening up support for mental illness or neurological conditions is being abused and exploited.

Typical of politics of envy. £247k really isn’t obscene wealth after tax if you don’t have assets. You’ll be well off but that’s about it. You certainly wouldn’t feel rich if you had a family in London.
