In March the "Other" vote stands at 5%. Looking at polls + 2024 results I estimate, of this:
⬛️ RES: 2.9% (new)
⬜️ IND: 0.9% (-1.1)
🟥 YRP: 0.3% (new)
⚙️ WPB: 0.3% (-0.4)
⚪️ OTH: 0.4% (-0.5)
Previously, my model assumed Other surge would help Ind/WPB. Will change this now.

Don't Pay played an enormous role in forcing Liz Truss (and subsequently Sunak) to bring in an energy subsidy that prevented energy bills from reaching £10,000+ pear year, and the people taking direct action for Palestine have had a serious impact on arms firms (e.g. Elbit)

Yup. The only effective campaigns I've seen in the past few years have been Don't Pay (fuel bills) and direct action taken in support of Palestinian liberation.
Trade unions and establishment Left avoided both these campaigns like the plague, and yet they achieved numerous wins.

But a lot of people were brand new to the Green Party and didn't want to pay much attention to how the party functions and yes they did fuck up there.

People didn't use the priority ballot system correctly, they just went in and put Zionism is Racism #1 and didn't rank any of the others. The instructions, including from pro-motion campaign, were clear!

There's a phenomenon of ex Labour members joining the Greens only to start screeching that they can't just do elite activist campaigns but have to actually convince the rank and file.
