@EleanoraStats Sure, and they lost the leadership contest. What leadership role do they have now?

my feeling with Anya Taylor-Joy is that she really likes taking on roles like this because she doesn't want to be typecast as someone who looks like a doll. laudable but unfortunately I don't think she's very good at them. weakest part of Furiosa.

Reading what Clowns says here is just so goddamn funny knowing that Zack would go on to boost the membership to 200,000 and a poll average of 16% "We’re way past those kinds of old ideas of politics being binary, left and right, simplistic like that" - Ellie Clowns, July 2025

I know people have begun to get used to this after 6 months but I have to emphasise again that this is *exceptional* vs previous Green leaders. The man takes foreign policy, energy policy, environmentalism and cost of living and explains how it all links back to imperialism

"Ah but he's a politician, just wait till Labour offers a coalition" <--- what I often hear from anti-Grn Left Guys at some point you're gonna have to take "Yes" for an answer because he's going out +giving you everything you said you ever wanted, and you're spitting in his face

Personally I would sum it up as: "You are paying more for your heating because Starmer wants to loot Iran", but that is essentially what Zack is saying here and no previous Green leader would dare say something like that. They'd be too scared of what the MSM would think. He's not

Dubai's economy is built almost entirely on slavery but barely any British person knows this because the entire British media (including entertainment) have been paid off by Dubai's royal family or are angling for a payout.

In March the "Other" vote stands at 5%. Looking at polls + 2024 results I estimate, of this: ⬛️ RES: 2.9% (new) ⬜️ IND: 0.9% (-1.1) 🟥 YRP: 0.3% (new) ⚙️ WPB: 0.3% (-0.4) ⚪️ OTH: 0.4% (-0.5) Previously, my model assumed Other surge would help Ind/WPB. Will change this now.

"Hypothetical" polling (it's not really hypothetical because both parties really exist, but whatever) including both Your Party + Restore suggests that of total "Other" vote: ⬛️ Restore = 60% of it 🟥 Your Party = 7% of it ⚪️ All other* = 33% of it *Independents, Workers Party

% of voters backing "Other" has risen in generic voting intention polls. But who are these Other voters? Last summer, Other rose to 5% after Zarah tweeted about a new left party. After botched launch(es), surge faded. Now Other is going up after Restore's launch.

Yet unions and the "respectable" left have shunned direct action, and refused to engage with pro-Palestine activists until a bunch of them went on hunger strike. But these direct action campaigns have achieved more in a few years than the "respectable" left has in decades!

Don't Pay played an enormous role in forcing Liz Truss (and subsequently Sunak) to bring in an energy subsidy that prevented energy bills from reaching £10,000+ pear year, and the people taking direct action for Palestine have had a serious impact on arms firms (e.g. Elbit)

Yup. The only effective campaigns I've seen in the past few years have been Don't Pay (fuel bills) and direct action taken in support of Palestinian liberation. Trade unions and establishment Left avoided both these campaigns like the plague, and yet they achieved numerous wins.

can't believe the disability benefits cuts are just, going ahead. you can stick your March Against the Far Right, what the fuck is the point when the government is culling sick and disabled people and you just let it happen, what's shuffling around central london gonna achieve?

There's a phenomenon of ex Labour members joining the Greens only to start screeching that they can't just do elite activist campaigns but have to actually convince the rank and file.
Alexander Louis Sallons@sallonsax

Guys, "Green Party Brass" don't have the ability to do this. This isn't Labour. Zionism is Racism didn't do well enough in the prioritisation ballot, there are multiple motions being reproposed and which get a multiplier to their ballot scores. 🧵
