Last but not least, let’s remember that launching small solutions without understanding the problem isn’t going to reduce the time it takes us to find the solution. #productmanagement lnkd.in/gUwM7FF

#Agile isn't fast food to be quickly consumed by the entire org. Are you being fed the Agile Happy Meal: sprints, standups and story points? Real agility takes time to understand. Dive deeply into #lean, #agile and #modernagile principles/practices to develop your skills.

When we learn to "work small" (1-4 days to finish something) & always check that our work is helping achieve a vision (defined via chartering) & reflect & adapt (on a fixed/variable cadence), our need for fixed-length time boxes (& estimating what goes in them) evaporates. #Agile

Working theory: Facebook is building a global payments network on WhatsApp Evidence: David Marcus (ex PayPal CEO, ex FB head of Messenger) is now working on leading “crypto” project there. Developing world outside China needs a WePay.

"Why PM's should take time in defining the problem rather than rushing for solution?" - Bcoz a solution can only be as good as your understanding of the problem you’re addressing. #productmanagement #ProductMgmt #problemsolving

Why don't we slooooww down with this "open office"? The office is a solution to getting employees to produce work...realize that 50%ish are introverts - and will be will be MORE PRODUCTIVE with a bit more privacy. (THIS IS A ERROR OF THINKING THAT EVERYONE IS JUST LIKE US)

Have been thinking a lot in the last weeks about changes and found a relevant quote in the latest @farnamstreet newsletter: “You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

Here's an experiment to try on a product, process or something you make: *remove* something from it and discover if that reveals a simpler solution. If not, you can always add back what was removed. And please report your experiences here. #LessIsMore #Lean #ModernAgile

When a team demonstrates real, working, tested software every few days (e.g. 1-4 days), they don't need the charade of velocity reporting to upper management. These demonstrations provide unequivocal evidence of actual progress and help teams manage deadlines. #ModernAgile
