A couple of students from my level 3 and 4 Spanish course spotted me at the local coffee shop this morning. We then moved a block over to the Pickleball court. What a fun and underrated activity!

Ending an amazing tour of Costa Rica with a relaxing day at Jacó Beach with my students. I sure do love my job - these kids are amazing!

Gotta love freshmen. After it was announced that students will soon be required to leave their phones in the classroom and use hall passes (in order to curtail some negative behavior in the bathrooms), they wanted to know if they could use my lightsabers for the hall passes!

Update on Alex: Alex's CT scans came back. Alex now has multiple small nodules (20 tumors) filling both lungs. The oncology team here in Fargo is meeting with Mayo oncology. We will know more tomorrow. Thank you for the ongoing messages of support for Alex!💛 #Alexstrong

Gimkit Fishtopia. When students are staying 2 minutes after the bell to see who wins, you know you have an engaging activity! Also, I played one of my "personal bests", and still only finished 5th over all, at the end of week 2, level 1 Spanish. Gotta love that!
