You'd be surprised how long it's needed for the markets to TRULY get going again. Most people are still in the doubting phase today: - A lengthy bear market rally? - A real reversal? The few don't move the market. It's when slowly EVERYONE is convinced when the direction of the market is clear to see. When there is no doubt anymore whether it's still a bear market or bull. What I mean is: Markets usually become way more "risk-taking" when it's obvious. It's the same reason why you don't really see altcoins truly take off yet. Why it still kind of feels slow. It's because for many it's not obvious yet. It's for that same reason that alts also lag Bitcoin's movement. Get Bitcoin to range a bit more here and make another rally and then you'll slowly see people convinced of the downtrend switch direction. Some still won't but they will when Bitcoin then makes ANOTHER range and rallies again. That's when risk-appetite becomes visible and you'll start seeing quicker and bigger candles on altcoins. So yeah, it usually takes Bitcoin even a bit more higher from here to get that liquidity truly going. Small note: There's more needed than just this to get something WILD going on. So that doesn't mean you get something like 2017 or 2021. Lots of other factors that influence that (the world isn't on lockdown where no one was allowed to spend anything outside and was sitting in front of their pc all day). But some liquidity flows to a certain degree usually takes a bit of a higher move to be reflected in alts.
