day 2 at the community garden! can't wait to share the history behind and the transformation of this space. a 3 acre community garden and demo farm in tarboro, nc. located in an historic floodplain. we are bringing community back to this land. what a blessing to be apart of this.

Literally. I live in a city, work full time, and grow food. These things do not have to be mutually exclusive.

i'm currently working on my first program from one of the new community gardens and it's called "little buggers". i'll be taking kids around the garden to identify beneficial vs harmful bugs, help them create a natural bug spray, and do some cool craft activities. 🥹👩🏽‍🌾 🐞
