Learning/practicing strategies and timings to beat the 1% against the 99% where your original strategy Invalidates them completely is insanely hard to do. Fighting urge to not do subconscious thing that’ll get you the W, in order to win in a specific manner for development. 😵💫😵💫




@RenatoCavallera entender que seu elo é um mero PNG e que sua diversão importa mais do que isso é algo que faz uma diferença brutal. Eu sinto que meu gosto por jogos de luta "renasceu" após eu deixar de ser "tryhard", e ironicamente eu melhorei muito mais depois disso, jogar sem pressão é mt bom.

Another reminder that fighting games will NEVER be casual friendly. Change a million things about the genre, some for the better, but humans HATE losing. The only sure way to make a fighting game grow with casuals is to make it so cool that they want to push through the pain.
