This stuff is hilarious. The 5 safest seats on the Coalition side of the pendulum are all held by Nationals. Of the Nationals 8 MPs, all are on margins over 9.5%. They clearly appeal to women in their own seats. Barnaby Joyce is on 17.9%! "Women" has become a lazy short hand for strategists with no clue as to what's going on.

Exclusive: A secret review into the National Party’s performance at last year’s federal election says it needs to “fundamentally change” its approach to recruiting and preselecting female candidates to attract “more high-calibre women” thenightly.com.au/politics/austr…

@JakeWolki I’ve seen these debates up close and it’s incredible what people will call ‘prime agricultural land’. I understand farmers don’t want to live next door to industrial facilities. That’s a totally valid argument against renewable developments, not the BS from some advocates.

A friend of mine made an interesting comment the other day, "We are upset that 'productive farmland' is being paved over for solar and wind. Can we really call producing 1 cow per hectare per year productive?"

A large dumping of rain and strong winds swept across NSW over the weekend, leaving widespread damage. This video from Yenda, NSW, exhibits some of the destruction caused by the weather.

@frogfarmer1 Or anyone can just experiment with both and find out. Having done that myself, beating arthritic pain, asthma, becoming lean, etc I’m pretty confident that being told to eat carbs instead of saturated fats isn’t great health advice.

@progressiveagri So I watched both… Both claim the higher moral ground. Both also claim to be right. One has a definite ideological vegan/climate change agenda underlying. One has a less significant business agenda. Only only can be right, or at least mostly right 😉 #fatfiction

I’m a big believer there’s no such thing as good luck just a combination of preparation and opportunity. But frost takes the cake this year for bad luck. Swales stem frosted halfway through grainfill. Spaded dunes untouched. Thanks to @OsterCharlie for mowing it down

Frost really starting to show its effects in all crops here now. Tomorrow’s field day has some of the most experienced agronomists on this topic area in attendance. Well worth attending to help make rational decisions with current crops
