𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱! 📣 Join us as we celebrate Quilombo Terra’s 3rd anniversary on 4 April with a multidisciplinary event designed to connect you with the spirit of the Quilombo through dialogue on decolonisation, identity, and collective ways of living. Tickets are free with a €10 ticket option available for those who can afford to do so. These contributions go directly towards supporting Quilombo Terra. Book now via the link below. The afternoon will feature a compelling panel dedicated to the themes of 'Ways of Living' and Counter-Colonisation, guided by three distinct voices: Alessandra Azeviche, Project Artist and co-founder of Quilombo, Amanda Tehuti and Maïra Oliveira Aggio. Following the panel, Brazilian composer Chico Feitosa will construct a traditional Berimbau (the musical heart of Capoeira) using a wood picket sourced in Ireland. This act illustrates how migration reshapes our relationship with the land, showing how nature provides the materials to integrate new cultural forms within an existing environment.
