Here are some things to remember when you're feeling outta sorts. Don't forget you can always talk to someone, friend, family or professional if you're not feeling great mentally. A problem shared is a problem halved ❤️

School's out! Summer's here! Which might be great for some but not for others - for many reasons. One could be that our routines in summer are thrown out of whack, bringing feelings of unease. How about making up your own summer routine to bring some consistency? Good luck!

This week's #WePose is Locust! There's a few variations (types) of this pose but this is the classic. Whichever one you do it's great for strengthening-back of the torso, spine, arms, legs and glutes (your bottom) & stretching-shoulders, chest, belly, and thighs. Give it a go!

Mondays can be hard, infact, any day can be hard. Whenever you're having a tough day we want you to remember this motto - "don't stress, do your best, forget the rest." {Artwork by: harmonywillowstudio on IG}

"“Smiling is a kind of mouth yoga. When we smile, it releases the tension in our face. Others notice it, even strangers, and are likely to smile back. By smiling, we initiate a wonderful chain reaction, touching the joy in anyone we encounter."" - Thich Nhat Hanh"

A full body scan is a great way to tune into your body, bring yourself to the present and to practice self-awareness. Work up the body noticing how each part feels. Anytime you notice something remember it's just a feeling - neither good or bad. We try not to judge our bodies.

Yes, yoga stretches your muscles and yes you become more flexible, but yoga also helps you to create a new version of yourself. The version of you stepping off the mat at the end of the practice is always a different version to the "you" that stepped on the mat. Pretty cool, huh?

We're turning things upside down for this week's #WePose - shoulder stand! Always warm up properly esp your spine, shoulders and neck. It's a great one for improving circulation, digestion, helping with anxiety and stress and tiredness. Remember to breathe deeply - give it a go!

Take a few minutes and try to breathe with the shape. Breathe in through your nose, decide if you want to exhale through the nose or mouth - whatever feels comfortable. Inhale deeply and exhale anything that is causing you stress. Visualise them leaving your body 💖

What's journaling? It's the practice of writing down our thoughts and feelings so that we can explore them, reflect and become more aware of ourselves. It's also great for setting goals and intentions. It can help us de-stress and increase our creativity. Give it a go!

Do you meditate? How about trying it for 5 minutes today? Find somewhere quiet, sit on the floor or on a chair, whatever is more comfortable. Scan your body and try to notice sensations happening in your body, notice your breathing and any feelings and thoughts that come up.
