Shopify merchants will be able to sell directly in ChatGPT. We’ve been working with @OpenAI for quite some time so people can search and buy products in chat, and it’s something we’ve had a hard time keeping quiet. Rollout is coming very very soon.

@sama In my experience, GPT-5 sometimes contradicts itself within just 1–2 lines of a brand-new chat, even when the context is very short and we did not switch topics.
Warmth doesn’t help if the model forgets or reverses what it just said. Please fix fundamentals first.

Most users should like GPT-5 better soon; the change is rolling out over the next day.
The real solution here remains letting users customize ChatGPT's style much more. We are working that!

@OpenAI Really matters is stability + context continuity.
My recent experience, GPT-5 often loses track of the conversation within just 1–2 turns, even in short, fresh sessions.
Warmth doesn’t help if the model contradicts itself so quickly. Fix the fundamentals first.
