@angel_elixirrr Very true, and this also buttresses my point, that Amorim was sooooo unlucky as a coach, just when he was sacked our fellow top 4 contenders started having a bad run! His bad luck in ManUtd was too much, but that man cooked good, the board and fans weren’t just patient enough!

Yes I’m 💯 certain Amorim would have gotten us CL football , but let’s not undermine Carrick’s work. There was no guarantee we would get top 4 with Carrick. Chelsea were 3rd in January, look where they are now. There are no guarantees in the PL. He built on Amorim’s work.

@promes489 Brother, bar the results, we played better football under Amorim. We saw tactical setups, fluidity in passes, massive attack and defence. We weren’t just vibes. Credit to Carrick for giving us the point, but I’d rather go for a long term project than short term wins
