This boss is a good exemple of the game's problems. It removes one random party member, which idealy would force the player to adapt their strategy, but since defensive strats are pointless thanks to the parry you just stick to the usual plan: focus on DPS and fish for parries

@otakugenarion You’re 100% correct. I chose Maelle’s ending but Verso’s ending is the better ending for everyone involved. Ultimately, the game did such a great job building the world that it was hard for me to destroy it

@proof223_ @_Lunerim_ @resipunk She was but she also gained memories of not being. It's complex but I feel the Verso ending is SO much more the obvious one. Sciel and Lune and Gustave lose meaning if there is an omnipotent being who can coerce and manipulate their outcomes.
