Here is my biggest issue with X:
It used to be on Twitter if some news was big enough to the markets in a single big wick, I could refresh the timeline and I would almost always instantly see the right news piece.
Now its:
* Refresh, see random posts from accounts I don't follow.
* Go to "Following" scroll through not find what I'm looking for.
* Go to news account pages, on browser see their old posts until I hard refresh, still maybe not find the news if that's something they cover.
* Keep refreshing timeline for 5 min, maybe see the news piece.
Between algo and curation twitter used to be the *undisputed* best place to instantly see breaking news that mattered within the same minute.
Now by the time you find that news you are behind.

@Mavs_FFL @christianpclark @Fullcourtpass Women can’t be effective NBA coaches. They just can’t. Not because they don’t know the game or that they aren’t good coaches. But as much as we like to pretend it’s not the case, a woman coach can’t connect with a bunch of grown men the way a male coach can.

How is this even possible? Why is Google apparently scanning someone's private Drive files? Am I missing something here?

Google just permanently banned a manga artist’s entire Google account, just for uploading his own old manga files to Drive. AI moderation triggered and flagged it, he tried to submit appeal then he got rejected it by Google and now he has lost everything like Gmail, Drive, all linked services is gone. He never even sharing the files publicly, it’s only backing up his own a private work like any creator and artists. This is Google Drive “AI moderation” in action. No human support and no serious to take action. Physical storage or real private alternatives only. Support the artists getting screwed by this. This level of corporate overreach is insane.

I mean, I’m sure it’d be pretty easy for them to look you by your IP address or registered phone number if that’s shared across accounts.

The google drive i use to connect to infuse for apple tv for movies and tv shows is different to my main one that i use for gmail and youtube.

This terrifies me.
Not because I have stuff that may get flagged, but the sheer fact that Google can terminate my account and I’ll be completely blocked from 90% of the services I use that I foolishly set up with a Google login.
And what happens if you lose access to your Gmail?
I’d be royally screwed.
