@thewowpoetnz @stockcarcentral It looks like you might not know why he was hired. He works for Spire, why would he be at F1?

@stockcarcentral You have no damn idea what Gabehart was hired for do you

Heather Gibbs has issued a statement to The Athletic after Jeff Dickerson's comments today. Here is her statement in full:
Joe Gibbs Racing was founded on the guiding principle of valuing people above all else within our organization, and the entire NASCAR community. We’re not here to diminish anyone. Drivers like Carson Hocevar are exactly what NASCAR needs. I couldn’t be more of an advocate for young drivers coming into the series.
In terms of the lawsuit, our singular purpose is to protect our trade secrets- the most important information that our race team (and any race team for that matter) possesses, particularly in this era of Next Gen cars. These trade secrets have been created through the hard work and innovation of JGR’s talented employees over the past 35 years as we built our race team from the ground up.
Those same trade secrets were admittedly stolen by a former employee in a manner meant to avoid detection. Within days of the acknowledged theft, Spire offered that former employee a job and subsequently hired him. This lawsuit isn’t personal; we have a responsibility to stand up for our employees, for our partners, and for the integrity of the garage.
We believe accountability matters. That is why we are here. Not to tear anyone down, but to stand up for what is right and protect the foundation this sport is built on, so that every team, every driver, and every fan can trust in the fairness of the competition.

From the Gluckcast today, Spire Motorsports owner Jeff Dickerson had some strong comments in defense of his team in the JGR/Gabehart lawsuit.

@LectricRider @TylerReddick That was on the last lap. Caution would have ended the race.
English

@TylerReddick Hocevar spun out, sitting sideways on the track against the outer wall with 3 laps to go. No caution. Worse than suspicious, it's boring.

@LectricRider @NASCAR @TylerReddick Hocevar spun on the last lap. A caution there would have ended the race.
English

@NASCAR @TylerReddick Beyond suspicious how one car could pass inspections and be that much better than everyone 3 races in a row. And, things like the Hocevar's spin with 3 laps left. Hocevar was sideways on a live track and no caution? The MJ lawsuit. It's worse than suspicious. It's boring.

@MobHoops Calling Jaden Ivey the Pistons second best shooter is a wild thing to say.
English

@AriWagner_ Well, Jaden Ivey isn’t good after the injury and wouldn’t be back with the team next year. Pistons have been better when he doesn’t play.
English

Save the welcome, we need another shoe to drop here. Ugh. Langdon. WTF! So instead of picking 29th we’re picking 24th (swap with Min)… and we're only brining in Kevin Huerter and Dario Šarić… for JADEN IVEY?! What are we doing here.

Welcome to Detroit, Kevin & Dario 💙
English

@DPC_2017 @RyanFieldABC He still could have signed with any team and we would have had to match. Could have been more than a one year deal.
English

@RyanFieldABC 37% but shot has been going down and down lmao ok... we could have kept Ivey on RFA. Paying the NEXT summer would have been the issue.
English

Pistons weren’t going to pay Ivey.
He’s not the same player after the injury, sadly.
They get a 37% career 3-pt shooter for him on an expiring deal.
Still think Detroit isn’t done.
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania
Just in: Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit have agreed to a multi-team deal that sends Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley Jr. to the Bulls and Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric to the Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Detroit also receives a 2026 first-round protected swap from Minnesota.

@grey4626 First SB I will have missed in my life and... and no fucks given. Happy implosion, NFL

Tomorrow's Super Bowl isn't football...it's the final, rotting corpse of what used to be America's game, now hijacked by corporate cowards and cultural saboteurs who despise everything you pretend to stand for.
Bad Bunny...real name some unpronounceable Puerto Rican provocation...is your halftime "star."
A guy who sings almost entirely in Spanish, who openly shits on American border enforcement, who reportedly skipped U.S. tours because he claimed his fans might get "targeted by ICE."
The NFL handed the biggest stage in sports to a performer who treats half the country like the enemy.
They knew exactly what they were doing.
They always do.
This isn't entertainment.
This is deliberate middle-finger theater.
The league watched the backlash explode...Trump called it out, MAGA roared, boycotts trended...and they doubled down anyway.
Roger Goodell and his boardroom parasites don't give a damn about ratings, tradition, or the working-class fans who built this empire.
They serve a different master now: the coastal elite, the virtue-signal algorithm, the globalist blob that hates normal people and wants you neutered, compliant, and ashamed of your own country.
You think the game itself is safe? Spare me.
Every commercial break will be a lecture...climate guilt, DEI sermons, rainbow flags waved like surrender signals.
The pregame "tributes" will drip with politics.
The broadcast will sanitize every tackle while amplifying every approved narrative. You're not watching sport; you're funding propaganda.
And for what?
Three hours of scripted distraction while the culture warriors laugh at your loyalty.
The NFL doesn't need your viewership anymore...they've got Apple, they've got international markets, they've got the regime's blessing.
You're just the outdated demographic they're phasing out.
Anyone with a functioning brain, a spine, and a shred of self-respect should treat tomorrow like it doesn't exist.
Don't watch a second. Don't stream. Don't check scores. Don't give them the clicks, the buzz, the illusion of consensus. Starve the beast.
Let the ratings crater so hard the message finally penetrates their fortified skulls: We are done being your captive audience for degeneration parades.
This isn't about one performer. It's about the line.
The NFL crossed it years ago and keeps sprinting past it. Tomorrow is your chance to plant a flag and say: No fucking more.
Do literally anything that doesn't involve handing your attention...and your dignity...to people who despise you.
The Super Bowl died when it stopped being about football and started being about lecturing you.
Let it stay dead.

I’m wearing the dress, if that bothers you…don’t watch. Bad Bunny plans on wearing a dress at half-time Superbowl show Courtesy of the woke NFL
