Working hard in the heat 💪 Our officials stepped up their preparations for 2026/27 with a pre-season training camp in Spain. The intensive five days play a vital role in preparing for the demands of the new season, ensuring they’re ready from the very first whistle.

UEFA Men’s U19 EURO final 🏆 Congratulations to Sam Barrott and Wade Smith, who took charge of Saturday’s final between Spain and Germany 👏 The appointment rounded off an excellent first major international competition for the English duo, who received eight appointments between them.

A successful summer on the world stage 🌍 The two teams of Michael Oliver, Stuart Burt & James Mainwaring and Anthony Taylor, Gary Beswick & Adam Nunn, along with VAR Jarred Gillett, received 33 appointments between them across a memorable FIFA World Cup. With the progression of England and other nations now bringing their involvement to a close, it has been a tournament which they can look back on with great pride and another positive showing for English officiating 👏
