Incredible teamwork that is showing interesting and very promising results in the search of novel therapeutic targets and the development of innovative preclinical models of #lymphoma #DLBCL and #leukemia #AML

Last but not least @JiBorrell and @GemaGorjon from @IQS have isolated a first set of selective pharmacological hits against #LUBAC ubiquitin ligase complex, with promising activity in DLBCL and AML preclinical models which has been tested in @CarrerasIJC

These last days we have held at @institutjosepcarreras the last annual PROTEOBLOOD meeting. Two days full of scientific discussions and laboratory practices with our extraordinary partners and friends from the consortium.

➕We're glad to receive today in our Institute researchers from the centers involved in @proteoblood to hold the Closure Meeting of the project. Cooperation is key in research and this project is an example of it!👏

🤝The Spanish-French project @proteoblood coordinated by our Group Leader @GaelRoueBCN, from the Lymphoma Translational lab (@roue_s). Its aim is to study hemostatic proteins in two prevalent types of #leukemia and #lymphoma and develop personalized treatments to cure them.

Great talk yesterday by our dear PhD fellow @marmencu8 explaining the main outcomes and perspectives of the #DLBCL #3dmodeling work package of the @proteoblood project coordinated by @CarrerasIJC @roue_s 👏

We've talked, among other subjects, about the existing and future innovative preclinical models of cancer developed by @roue_s and the ongoing studies at @IQSbarcelona and potential applications for the design of anti-cancer therapies. Great science 🧬🔬⚗️!!!

💡Finally the health situation has enabled us to held a face2face meeting at @CarrerasIJC between @roue_s and our partners from the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Group from @IQSbarcelona to share our joint effort searching for new treatments against 🩸#leukemia 🩸 and 🩸#lymphoma 🩸
