#TerrorinGeorgia Georgia’s State Security Service has summoned human rights defender Ucha Nanuashvili, after pro-government TV segments claimed he “coordinated” work related to the OSCE Moscow Mechanism inquiry.
Nanuashvili says he’s being questioned simply for communicating with OSCE experts, as the Moscow Mechanism report lays out serious concerns about democratic backsliding, rights abuses, pressure on protesters/opposition, and political prisoners in Georgia.

Night after night, the streets of Tbilisi fill with citizens demanding freedom. For 472 consecutive days, Georgians have marched across the country, refusing repression and calling for the release of more than 120 prisoners of conscience. Their message is simple: democracy cannot exist without the rule of law and political freedom. And history teaches us something powerful: when a people remain this united, patient and determined, sooner or later even the strongest dictatorship falls.
