@narendramodi Not saying that its not a good thing but why do we need an amendment for everything? Why not political parties just give tickets to female candidates?
English

I would like to appeal to all Members of Parliament…
Please reflect upon your conscience, remembering the women in your own families.
The legislation to ensure women’s reservation in legislative bodies is a significant opportunity to do justice to women of our nation.
Please do not deprive our Nari Shakti of new opportunities.
If this amendment is passed unanimously, it will further empower the women of our country and strengthen our democracy.
Let us come together today to create history.
Let us ensure that the women of India, who are half of the nation’s population, receive their rightful due.

@anishmoonka First you deliver items to people's doorstep and then you venture into space technology. Classic pipeline.

Twelve months ago, Deepinder Goyal was running a ~$25 billion food delivery company. Today, he's assembling one of India's most aggressive private aerospace and defense portfolios, and the $1 million into Kalam Labs is his fourth bet in the sector in under a year.
The pattern is wild. He co-founded LAT Aerospace in early 2025, committing $25 million of personal capital to build short-takeoff regional aircraft. Two weeks ago, LAT acquired Sharang Shakti, an IIT Delhi startup building anti-drone interceptors, marking its first direct move into military tech. Last April, he backed Vayudh's $10 million round, a defense drone swarm company with 300,000+ autonomous flying hours for the Indian Army. And in January, he was reportedly in talks to put $25 million into Pixxel, a satellite imaging company backed by Google and Lightspeed.
Now Kalam Labs. Three BITS Pilani grads who started with a space metaverse for kids, pivoted to stratospheric drones, and now build UAVs that fly above 100,000 feet. That's roughly twice the max altitude of a Rafale fighter jet. At that height, their drones are beyond the reach of GPS jamming and conventional air defenses. The Indian Army came to them. Their drones are currently deployed at Pokhran (India's nuclear test site) and along the India-China Line of Actual Control. The team is 15 people in Lucknow, backed by Y Combinator and Lightspeed, and has raised about $2 million. They pitched on Shark Tank India at a valuation of ~₹300 crore.
Goyal told shareholders in January he left Eternal to pursue "higher risk and experimentation." His version of that: building jet engines from scratch, funding anti-drone defense systems, and backing startups that park surveillance drones at the edge of space. India's military drone market reached $1.76 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $4.5 billion by 2030. The Zomato founder is placing personal capital across the full stack.
