@amigoingcrazzyy He still can it's just not used much. Spurrier had him blend into the shadows in one panel during krakoa but it was more for show than purpose.

Nightcrawler is a core X-Men character, but underused. He’s often either a swashbuckling acrobat or just religious, when he has more nuanced depth. His abilities beyond teleportation are often overlooked or reset. There’s untapped potential for more solo stories or leadership.
