Hopefully by next month we should be able to complete the alley pavement works at Gbegbeyise if the weather remains favorable. But if the rains continue, it may take longer than expected. – Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, MP for the Ablekuma West Constituency.

The assemblyman and his task force came to assault me and destroy the structure where I sell alcohol. They should compensate me for the damages, otherwise I’ll be forced to take legal action.

The ‘Operation Clear All Ghetto’ exercise is an order from above — involving even President John Mahama and the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo. This demolition exercise is in response to the murder incident that happened here. – Hon. Pestolee, AssemblyM

I don’t sell drugs, I only sell alcohol and rent out rooms. But my building was demolished during the ‘Operation Clear All Ghettos’ exercise. I’m going to the assembly to demand compensation for my apartment, and if they refuse, I’ll take them to court.

We were only informed on Friday, and by Monday they had already come to demolish our structures here at Mallam Atta Market. We’re all Ghanaians and deserve to be treated fairly.

Let’s not politicize the demolition happening at Gbegbeyise because we, the residents, appealed to our MP, Hon. Rev. Kweku Addo, to help construct an alley pavement so vehicles can access the area properly. John Dramani Mahama knows nothing about this issue.

If someone falls sick here, vehicles can’t even access the area to pick the person up. We want to thank Hon. Kweku Addo for starting work toward the pavement alley project, and any building blocking the road should be demolished.

Youth are very disappointed in John Mahama and Sam George over the One Million Coders Programme because it’s not what we were promised. Instead, we were given access to a Coursera link, which is already freely available, yet government claims the programme costs 100 million cedis

There’s no way you can compare Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Julius Debrah, or Cassiel Ato Forson to Mahamudu Bawumia. If Bawumia were in their party, he would probably run unopposed just like John Dramani Mahama did.

31st December Makola traders earlier this morning petitioned John Dramani Mahama over what they describe as attempts by the Mayor of Accra, Michael Nii Kpakpo Allotey, to forcibly evict them from their current trading spaces.

The NDC deceived us about the okada business before coming to power. Nothing has changed, and the police are still disturbing our work. Even Malik Basintale came here and made several promises.

There isn’t a single metric Black Sherif doesn’t tick for the #27thtgma Artiste of the Year category — whether it’s streaming numbers or impact. But there are several criteria the others in the category don’t meet. – @NanaKojoMula Full video here: youtu.be/RI7oMd7W4mg?si…

Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije told us an MP doesn’t construct roads, yet after pressure, he came to dredge the road. As an MP, his performance has been poor — most of the good works associated with him date back to his time as Mayor of Accra.
