A reality-bending spectacle. For the upcoming Designblok, Central Europe's largest design and fashion exhibition, we've put together three @universal_robot arms, a laser, and a projector to create this digital art performance.

Over 9000 visitors got to see us and our partnered hardware startups at Maker Faire Prague last weekend! Many thanks to the festival goers, as well to our friends, makers and company founders who exhibited their innovative products in our PrusaLab Hardware Startup Zone 💪🛠.

We're making progress with our Megaextruder every week 🚀. This is what our first month of experimenting looked like.

So, in warehouse spaces that make extensive use of light floor marking, this solution can bring great energy and financial savings. Also, the entire system is interconnected - for example, the smart floor marking can interactively show a forklift driver where to load and unload.

Closing off this year's hardware accelerator batch, it's Goboline with their new light projection technology solution 💡. In a nutshell: their innovative projector projects lines instead of the standard circle.

During this minute, riders can read interesting facts about the state of drinkable water in the Czech Republic, as well as globally. As recent years have shown, its abundance is not a given. Let's treat water responsibly!

Nothing tastes better on a hot summer day than plain and pure water. That's why we made an interactive installation for Pop Messe festival visitors, rewarding a minute of pedalling on a special exercise bike with this life-giving liquid 💧.

...so that the first customers who backed Last Miles in a crowdfunding campaign on @hithitcz can receive the product at the end of the six-month acceleration run 💪.

The goal of the acceleration is then to finish developing the electronics needed to inflate the skate, and fit it into the frame (the frame itself is foldable so that the skates take up as little space as possible)...

💨 The second project of this year's PrusaLab hardware accelerator batch is the LastMiles foldable in-line skates. These go directly onto the shoe and, when folded, fit into a regular backpack.

The team verified their proof of concept during a bachelor thesis, and now, as part of our accelerator program, we are working together on a prototype suitable for mass testing on several herds.

Now that you know what our accelerator projects from the 2022 batch are, let's take a closer look at each of them! Starting with... 🐮 ...FlockLock, a startup developing smart ear (and neck) tags to monitor the location, activity, and health status of grazing cattle.

Say hello to our little friend 🖐! This megaextruder is a result of more than a year of research & development by our friends at 3Deposition. Thanks to its printing capacity, we'll be able to print large pieces of furniture and other stuff (feel free to give us ideas!).
