Why are imaging centers in the United States still handing patients CDs in 2026?
Most modern computers don’t even have a CD drive anymore. Patients are expected to carry discs from office to office, hoping the images will open correctly, while physicians and staff waste valuable time trying to upload or access outdated media.
Neuroimaging should move at the speed of modern medicine. MRI, CT, PET, and advanced brain imaging studies should be securely available online through cloud-based platforms with instant physician access. This improves continuity of care, reduces delays, and helps patients avoid the frustration of acting as the “courier” of their own medical records.
At the very least, imaging centers should transition to secure thumb drives instead of CDs. But the real solution is digital, seamless, and accessible imaging sharing.
The future of neuroimaging is not on a disc.
The future is connected care.

“Did you know your morning coffee may actually help your brain? ☕🧠
Research shows that coffee can improve alertness, focus, memory, and even may reduce the risk of neurological conditions like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
Coffee also contains antioxidants that help protect brain cells from stress and aging.
But remember — moderation matters. Too much caffeine can lead to anxiety, poor sleep, and headaches.
At Espinosa Neuroscience Institute, we believe brain health starts with everyday habits.
Drink smart. Think sharp.”

The course, “Curso de electroencefalografía en la práctica clínica: de la teoría al informe”, will take place from June to August 2026 and will be conducted entirely in Spanish. It will be 100% online, combining asynchronous recorded lectures with biweekly live (synchronous) sessions focused on case discussions and practical EEG interpretation

Between two fingertips lies the spark of humanity.
In neuroscience, every thought, memory, movement, and emotion depends on connection.
Just as in Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the space between creation and consciousness is where the miracle happens — within the human brain.
At Espinosa Neuroscience Institute, we are committed to protecting and restoring those connections through advanced neurological care, innovation, and compassion.
🧠 Where science meets humanity.

In the near future, Tesla robots will help support patient care in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and even at home — assisting healthcare teams, improving daily support, and helping care for our elderly population with compassion, safety, and innovation.

A single online review can impact an entire healthcare team.
Physicians dedicate years of training and sacrifice to care for patients, yet due to privacy laws and professional ethics, we often cannot share the full story behind a negative review.
Healthcare is human. Not every outcome, diagnosis, or conversation will meet expectations — but every patient encounter deserves fairness, respect, and understanding.
Let’s remember there are real people behind the white coat.

Perseus didn’t defeat Medusa with strength—he did it with strategy.
He avoided direct gaze, controlled fear, and used reflection to win.
In neurology, this is what we do every day:
🧠 Process what we see
⚡ Regulate fear responses
🎯 Use higher cognition over reflex
Sometimes, survival isn’t about reacting—
…it’s about how your brain chooses to respond.”**
