Sean Dyche has said he “doesn’t understand” why he was sacked as Nottingham Forest manager. Speaking for the first time since his sacking, on The Football Boardroom podcast, Dyche conceded that player unrest had played a part in his departure, but also blamed “keyboard warriors”. Adressing his departure, Dyche said: “If you look at the stats and facts — even after the last game, against Wolves. Our current form at that time was ninth in the Premier League. “The stats and facts were there, clear as day. From my record, from when we got there (in October) to when we ended, we’d have been 12th in the Premier League. If you did that in your job the manager would rightly be worried about you. Also no one knows which match he was referring to.

@OshJones25 @TriaNffc I do think a pre season would’ve been beneficial for him, trying to get his style over quick was never going to work. I’ve not listened to it myself (yet) but would say he always came across as a decent bloke but just needed to stop talking about Spurs at press conferences

Just given the Ange episode of the Overlap a listen and I’ll be honest, gained a lot of respect for him. Sounds like a normal sound bloke tbh and especially when you hear him talk about his parents sacrifices and stuff you realise just how much he’s achieved in life. Fair play.
