@jonbrooks If only it were the case today I would be owning a modest home starting my homestead, growing my food forest, and escaping society by now. its interesting to me why there are so few people, even the older generations who do not do that. everyone is consumers.

@zapatas_mom walkable cities are fine. people think its all abt making it so people don't own cars, or things so its like a prison, but nah. its good to walk to work, walk to get groceries. u can save money that way. i get it though, people want to drive escape they city when they want.

@zapatas_mom I was looking at condos . what is the point in buying a condo when you are paying up the anus in HOA. hoa charges makes you pay what you would be paying for rent, even more. Even if you pay in full and own your condo. hoa makes it so you still pay what you would be for rent.

Americans… this is a good faith question. I’m not baiting or trolling. Why are you so scared of condos and walkable cities? Does not having to drive for your groceries freak you out? What about it makes you uncomfortable? Please be honest.

As myself currently in a living nightmare, I wonder how it mirrors to the outside world, or that the outside world was mirroring my nightmare. It could be worse, just like escalations in the world could be worse. Not to say it is not still a nightmare.
