How do you know Karmelo wouldn’t have stabbed the “person in charge?” You’re saying that if they want to live- people SHOULD be wary of black people and be careful not to “trigger them.” I think Austin just wrongly assumed Karmelo was a reasonable, logical, non-violent dude who had respect for other people’s spaces. He was obviously wrong. He should’ve been racist instead.

Who knows? Maybe they would have. Maybe they wouldn’t have. I also doubt said person in charged would’ve decided to shove Karmelo or may have known how to de-escalate a situation better than another 17 year old but unfortunately I can’t see into a future and know a result of an event that didn’t happen.
