@psychicflying I was going through the early files for Generation III, and I just found out that very early, Phoebe's Pokemon team was a Shedinja and a Dusclops. Immediately I imagined how painful your Gen III runs would be if she had that Shedinja in the final.
@Jacob62049796 If we spend 50-100 hours of time a year doing basic cuts, we no longer need to spend that time on basic cuts. As editing time falls, release rate increases.
The kind of thing no one but me cares about. But it's finally working and I'm so excited! Automatically detecting trainers in video footage, finding in/out frames, and making the edits in premiere pro.
@speedrunner0218 Oh this work is going to save way more time than it cost. Basic cuts are like 30-60 minutes for EACH playthrough. Lowball that is 3000 minutes a year (50 hours) and it took me like 12 hours to make this tool.
Hi @psychicflying would you consider making a VS video of a slow growth rate pokemon vs itself modified to medium slow? I think a visualization of growth rate impact would be really interesting to see
There was some confusion when I streamed and said if I record 30 minutes of audio it produces much less time in the finished video (est. 7 minutes). Here's an example of why this is the case. Same sentence, 4 times, first three had weird voice cracks, 4th one makes the video.
@moonkekii@speedrunner0218 is correct. You can also replace an unused Pokemon like Golem or Mew. If you want more species, you can replace the legendary birds - provided you never fight them.
@psychicflying Excuse me, I'm sorry to ask. But I've been wondering how do you backport Pokémon in Gen 1? I was very interesting to backport Staraptor for fun and giggles. Thank you very much for your time, big fan.
