@pkbeam_ i've always been the bigggest mother LARPer i was super into it as a kid but i never made it past master belch when earthbound got released onto the wii u and i could never get the save function on the mother 3 emulator to work so i never beat either of them until i was an adult

this always reminded me of mother 1 vs. earthbound, where in the first game you had a regular party of a few preteens but then also inexplicably this grown ass man tagging alongside them. and then his counterpart in earthbound is Poo who is younger and has infinitely more aura
