🧡🧡🧡 #PrideWithHudson I came from a tropical country so braving the Canadian winter has been hard. There were stretches of time where I was not feeling up to exercising, which continued well after winter passed. This Hudson ad has helped me to start walking daily again.

16 years ago vs 2026 ! My pride story Today I choose red for life ❤️ In this photo 16 years ago I look happy but on the inside I was dying everyday , I was struggling with my sexuality, struggle with my mental health and I even tried to end it a few times, I felt trapped that I couldn’t be myself , I was scared I would be shun from my friends and family , I comfort ate to make myself feel better and I ended like this I came out just before my 21st birthday and it was after a night out with my gay friends , seeing how happy and proud they where and how they where so free that people loved them for who they where , I went home very very drunk , I told my mum and I remember it clear as day even if I was drunk , I apologised for being “gay” not being “normal” and as an only child i probably won’t have kids so I always felt I took that away from my mum, I asked my mum would she still love me, she told me I had nothing to apologise about and he had love me from the minute she found out she was pregnant and she will love me to her dying day, she apologised for me feeling that I couldn’t tell her about me and my sexuality, this is why I resonate with Shane so much ! My coming out went a lot like #ShaneHollander my family accepted me right away and I felt like the weight of the world was finally off my shoulders ! Pride is important as it’s here to tell us we are “normal” we deserve love and happiness , celebrating pride celebrates those who are out, those who aren’t yet , and those who can never come out due to their circumstances, Thanks to Hudson Williams for bringing Shane to life and understanding that character and making me fall in love with him ! Hudson is an inspiration to me in many ways and a true ally to the queer community ❤️ Love is love always 🌈 #PrideWithHudson #HudsonWilliams
