While Obama grabs headlines with rousing Honor Flight speeches professing love for veterans, his true colors shone: he barred dying heroes, honor flight trips planned a year ahead, from memorials, leaving them trapped on buses. Younger veterans seeing this removed the barricade only to get beaten by his police. Yet, Pelosi welcomed illegal aliens for festive rallies on the other side of the Washington Monument. Absolutely sickening, Obama doesn't care about veterans at all.

@GinaSaysSo I applied for SS benefits at age 62, knowing that I'd take a reduced amount but assuming it would supplement my income...it's my money, after all. When I found out that I would actually get $0, but would still have a reduced benefit forever, I had to withdraw my app.

If you choose to receive Social Security early you take a hit on that payment. Government decides what retirement age is FOR US and then they punish us with lesser payments if we don't agree. They take money from us our entire lives, call it 'security' and then dictate when we are allowed to be financially 'insecure' enough to collect. And if you collect before age 67, accept the lesser amount as your punishment, but also have to keep working your job too (cuz that's so much fun), they deduct $1 from your benefit payments for every $2 you earn above the annual limit. For 2025 that limit is $23,400. I'm sorry, but WHAT? This is criminal.
