Erik ten Hag was appointed to restore standards at #MUFC. The team had lost its identity and, in parts, its discipline. The club had lost its way, partly because the owners' focus is solely on money. Team and club need a reboot. Whatever happens today against #BHAFC (well-run team, brilliantly-run club, proper owner), Ten Hag has to be allowed to continue this difficult but vital team rebuild.
He has some exceptional players, Rashford, Onana, Bruno etc. He has the promise of Hojlund, Garnacho etc. Ten Hag's a good manager who quickly identified the malaise, the selfishness of some, and the inability or unwillingess of others to fit his tactical plan. He's won a trophy, returned United to the Champions League, and still has some clearing out and strengthening to do. Some people don't like his honesty but he's simply delivering home truths. And United need that.

💔 I very sadly said goodbye to my friend and mother in law Manuela Riveiro Rioboo last week.
A proud Galician woman 🇪🇸 who lived life with a great smile and had a huge zest for work and family who she loved more than anything else in the entire world.
She came to London aged 26 without speaking English, got her head down and done what she did best work hard and learn fast. Amongst many tough jobs over the first few years, Manuela found her calling as a tailor.
She went on to have the most famous tailoring shop in Hampstead and Bishop's Stortford to TV stars, celebrities, and the local community.
From the moment I met Vanessa's Mum we had a great relationship full of banter, laughs, Sunday Roasts, travel and madness. She was a proud lady who taught me so much over 15 years, including the power of hard work, self-improvement, and focus.
We got there in the end darling!!
Sadly Manuela developed Parkinsons 14 years ago, which she battled so bravely even though it destroyed her spine and caused 24/7 pain and four spinal surgeries. She was handling Parkinsons as well as could be expected then Cervical Cancer hit her hard.
She was awaiting surgery and treatment but sadly died before we had a chance to save her. I really don't know what to say at this stage.
She leaves behind David, her caring husband after 45 years of wonderful marriage and her daughter's Vanessa and Jessica and many friends.
I have so many memories of you Manuela, thank you for everything, our late night talks and giggles will be missed forever. I'm glad your pain free now and can go into the clouds and watch over us with your beautiful smile.
I'm gonna miss you so very much. ❤️
