Been about 5 months now since the scam that I talked about in my birthday tweet happened in which I lost around 400k total (not crypto, irl "fren" I knew since a decade, and not only me but a bunch of other of his friends were affected). Have had a lawsuit running since mid February, but bureaucracy is slow and tbh not really sure how much money I can realistically claim back. Had some initial success with claiming back some money through PayPal (assumed it to be 150k, but unfortunately ended up being 50k only as of last week (happy easter, yay) – since PayPal does care more about money than justice or rightfulness). No I am not fully wiped out, but basically lost all my profits I took into fiat this entire bull market. So with the timing of the scam coinciding with crypto nose diving into a bear market, it has been a very painful hit both monetarily and mentally. Have been stabilizing things a bit with NFT loans on @NFTfi and @gondixyz for the moment (thanks @CirrusNFT for being an absolute goat and helping me out here a ton) but even with fairly low rates interest gonna start being painful over time – with a resolution of the lawsuit being at least a couple months away at best and idk how long at worst. Add months to years to that to see the money back probably. Hence, I cannot really responsibly afford to sit on quite as much illiquid NFT net worth as I currently do. Sold off quite a lot of more liquid assets first (for taxes and other unavoidable expenses). Therefore, with a very heavy heart, I have to put up some of my @pudgypenguins grails on the market (see in replies below). Pretty sure I am somewhat selling a bottom here, but gonna get my total amount on loans down to not die to interest and my liquid funds up. Trading (spot, stay away from leverage kids, especially if you're in a rough situation, you will not make it back in one trade ...) has been going quite okay (thanks TAO, PUMPCADE & VVV) lately but all profits are being eaten up by lawyer costs (about 20k so far) and to a lesser extent loan interest. Not in an immediate rush to sell anything, so please leave me alone with any lowball offers that try to take advantage of a desperate situation, but very grateful for any serious offers or creating contact to potentially interested buyers. If anyone is from Europe and interested in MTG or YuGiOh cardboard you may also hit me up, but moving bunch of 3-4 fig cardboard probably more tricky than selling 2-3 grails.
