I've been working towards this for a long time and finally created my Patreon. There's already some stuff there that I haven't posted here, but there will be a lot more content over time! I'd be very grateful for your support! patreon.com/Melon_Wuff?utm…

Okay. I've been meaning to do this for a long time, but I was scared to talk about it. For years, I felt exhausted and broken almost every day, with constant panic attacks and anxiety for no reason. Since the start of 2026, a lot of shitty things have been happening in my life

@w_nacht I've actually been taking the medication for 27 days now, and I feel better, but the anxiety still comes in waves

@puff_melon I hope the treatment will help you bounce back faster! I have a few recommendations as a f33.11 person: - trust the doctor - don't change the dosage yourself unless told so - if you don't like your meds - tell the doctor, ask for a change!! - keep a symptom list and adjust it

@w_nacht Thank you so so much! That's actually what I do. My anxiety is actually beneficial, as I'm absolutely not going to change the dosage myself out of fear of doing something wrong

@ZorieZorieZorie It's true. Until I started taking the pills and while I was feeling really bad when I first started taking them (the doctor didn't prescribe me any medication to cover the side effects), Hello kitty island adventure saved me lol. It really does relax me

@puff_melon OCD can be a lot at times, I've been there. You're not crazy neither are you alone, and while the nature of your thoughts might disturb you you shouldn't let them think bad of yourself. They are unwanted thoughts after all

@puff_melon If PTSD is a likely diagnosis then EMDR would be extra useful to talk to to your therapist, it's one of the most effective ways to process traumatic/distressing thoughts or memories, same reason why it's effective for OCD

@ZorieZorieZorie Oh, and the doctor also mentioned that I most likely have BPD and PTSD, but it's not officially confirmed yet

If you're already noticing an improvement in just a month that already is ridiculously huge, congrats! My cheat sheet to you is you should try practicing mindfulness meditation as often as it is convenient to you for managing anxiety levels and (to put them some way) 'everyday' intrusive/obsessive thoughts. If you have any thoughts that are more persistent/distressing/taboo obsessive thoughts what helped me manage them was a combination of EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy, if you gave the opportunity to talk to a psychologist I would strongly recommend you comment them on those two

@ZorieZorieZorie I saw a therapist for 3 months because I thought it might help (I was really scared of taking pills). And she was the one who suggested I try seeing a psychiatrist. Right now sadly due to money issues I've put therapy on hold — but as soon as I sort this out, I'm going back
