Puget Sound Fire

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross is providing emergency assistance.

Puget Sound Fire is on location of a residential fire in the 26600 block of SE 216th Street. All residents evacuated safely and report no injuries.

It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the fire. The closest hydrant was over a mile away so tenders were used to shuttle water to the scene.

Firefighters were able to remove the lone occupant from the car. Sadly, the person died at the scene.

Puget Sound Fire, Renton RFA, VRFA, and @KingCoMedicOne responded to a car in the Duwamish River at approximately the 11300 block of Tukwila International Blvd. Firefighters arrived and found one car submerged.

Arriving firefighters found a 2-story building with heavy smoke coming from it.

Puget Sound Fire is on location of a 2-alarm commercial fire in the 8000 block of South 266 Street.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze in approximately one hour and are working on extinguishing hotspots. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries have been reported.

Puget Sound Fire responded to a residential fire in the 11800 block of SE 274 Street. Firefighters arrived at found flames coming from the back of the single story home.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in approximately 30 minutes. Puget Sound Fire firefighters and KIng County Medical One paramedics treated one person for serious injuries and transported them to a Seattle area hospital.

The fire has been extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries to firefighters have been reported.

This morning, just after 2:00 am, Puget Sound Fire responded to a commercial fire in the 400 block of Central Avenue South. Firefighters arrived and found flames coming from the single story restaurant.

Firefighters located the person and removed him from the house. Sadly, the victim died at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the King County Sheriff Office.

Puget Sound Fire, Renton RFA, and @KingCoMedicOne responded to a residential fire in the 19700 block of 138th Avenue SE. Arriving firefighters were told that one person was still inside.

@KingCoMedicOne and Skyway Fire also responded to this incident.

Early this morning, Puget Sound Fire responded to a residential fire in the 12500 block of S. 259th Street. The fire was through the roof by the time firefighters arrived.

Firefighters extinguished the fire in approximately one hour and the cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters deployed hose lines to protect the houses on either side of the involved house. These two homes did not sustain any damage.
