Brady Hayward finished up his State Golf Tournament - Mon & Tues at University Ridge in Madison with an impressive T-17th place out of 104 Division 1 Golfers. Brady fired a two day total of 151 strokes (75-76) Congrats Brady on a successful Tournament and Junior Season!

6. Swing the bat!! Way too many batters wait until they have 2 strikes before they look to hit. These are just a few things I see routinely. These little things add up and could easily reduce the length of games.

4. Hustle. This shouldn't need to be said but it's there. I've heard of a coach who has a rule that they have 7 seconds to get out on the field after they make the 3rd out on offense. Love this rule!

3. Also when your catcher is batting (especially with 2 outs) have a substitute ready to catch the warmup pitches to start the next inning. Too often we are left waiting for someone to come do it. Again, not enforced often, but by rule it should only be 1 minute between innings.

2. When your pitcher or catcher is batting, their courtesy runner should be ready in the dugout with a helmet in hand. It's frustrating waiting for them like it was a big surprise to them they were needed to run.

1. Coaches, teach your pitchers to work fast. It not only speeds up the game. It keeps your defense more ready to make a play and it keep the umpires and fans involved. Although it's not enforced very often, by rule the pitcher has 20 seconds to throw the ball after receiving it.

@ebartels_20 Although Pulaski never won an FRCC title, they won the state in D2 in 2013, beating Wisconsin Lutheran. Pulaski finished 2nd place in the FRCC in 2013.
