@TWLadyGrey Very true. I voted for Bernie in the Primary, but when he lost, it was time to vote for Hillary. It was obvious to me that if Trump was allowed to appoint Supreme Court Justices, we’d be screwed for the next 30 years. And here we are.

I truly give up. The banner headline on CNN is Protest Vote Against Biden Exceeds Expectations. They got 13.4%. On what planet is that a great success worthy of a banner headline? He got over 80% without campaigning. This is a great example of everything wrong with the media.

@brent858 A random candidate wouldn’t get that because once the candidate is named, then they are subject to attack. That’s why “Generic Dem” polls better than Biden & “Generic R” polls better than Trump. Voting “Uncommitted” is the way people vote for “Generic Dem” in these primaries.

lmao what are you talking about?? If a random candidate appeared in January 2024 and got 13% of the vote against the sitting president, that’d be quite impressive. This was a last-minute effort with virtually no money centered around a single policy and it got 100k votes.

Uncommitted didn't do well by any reasonable benchmark in Michigan, not sure why people are trying to spin this into a story. If anything a little bullish for Biden insofar as it suggests that the protest vote over Gaza might not be all that large.
